Mr. Moomjian practices in the areas of corporate and securities law, including finance, mergers and acquisitions, securities regulation and corporate governance.
Before forming Moomjian, Waite & Coleman, LLP, Mr. Moomjian practiced with Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, a leading mergers and acquisitions firm in New York City, and was a partner in Breslow & Walker, LLP and a member of Kaufman & Moomjian, LLC.
Mr. Moomjian is a graduate of New York University School of Law where he was a member of the Order of the Coif, a recipient of the John Norton Pomeroy Prize and an editor of the New York University Law Review. He graduated magna cum laude from Queens College, where he graduated with honors in accounting and economics. While at Queens College, Mr. Moomjian was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a co-winner of the New York State Society of CPAs Award.
Mr. Moomjian is currently the Co-Chairman of the NY/NJ/CT Chapter of the Armenian Bar Association. He is also a member of the Board of Governors, Co-Chairman of the Nominating Committee and a former Chairman of the Board of this international organization.
