Mr. Moomjian practices in the areas of corporate and securities law, including mergers and acquisitions, finance, securities regulation and corporate governance.
Experience
Before forming Moomjian, Waite & Coleman, LLP, Mr. Moomjian practiced with Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, a leading mergers and acquisitions firm in New York City, and was a partner in Breslow & Walker, LLP and a member of Kaufman & Moomjian, LLC.
Education
Mr. Moomjian is a graduate of New York University School of Law where he was a member of the Order of the Coif, a recipient of the John Norton Pomeroy Prize and an editor of the New York University Law Review. He graduated magna cum laude from Queens College, where he graduated with honors in accounting and economics. While at Queens College, Mr. Moomjian was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a co-winner of the New York State Society of CPAs Award.
Professional Activities
Mr. Moomjian is Co-Chairman of the Nominating Committee and former Chairman of the Board and Executive Committee member of the Armenian Bar Association. He is also a member of the Board of the New York Chapter of this organization, and was formerly its Co-Chair.
